The fastest way to make money in story mode is through the Lester assassination missions — if you invest in the stock market before and after each hit, you can turn each mission into tens of millions. The big five assassinations (Hotel, Multi-Target, Vice, Bus and Construction) can earn all three characters hundreds of millions combined. Replay heists also pay well and unlock fully after the story.
The top earners in GTA Online are the Cayo Perico Heist (soloable, repeatable, ~$1–1.4M per run), the Diamond Casino Heist (best with a crew), and passive businesses like the MC Drug Lab or Bunker. Agency Contract missions from the Agency business are also very profitable. The Cayo Perico Heist is widely considered the best single grind for newer players.
GTA 5 has a wide range of cheats entered on the controller or keyboard. Common ones: SKYFALL gives you a parachute, TURTLE restores health and armour, PAINKILLER makes you invincible for a short time, and POWERUP gives a super jump. Vehicle spawns include ROCKET for the PCJ-600 and BANDIT for a BMX. Note: activating cheats disables achievements/trophies for that session.

Absolutely. The story mode is a standalone, complete experience with three playable protagonists, a full 30–40 hour campaign, and dozens of side missions. It has aged very well, especially on modern hardware where it runs at 60 fps. Many players return to it specifically because GTA Online can feel overwhelming — the story is a clean, structured way to experience the world of Los Santos.
