GTA Online Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid Guide — Setup Missions, Silent Finale & Payout

Updated September 202611 min readBy

The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid is a free GTA Online heist strand that needs no Agency, Arcade, or setup fee to start — just a phone call in free roam. Across six missions you infiltrate the corrupt front operations of the Cluckin' Bell fast-food chain, culminating in a raid on a chicken-processing plant in Paleto Bay that's secretly a cartel drug front. How you play the fifth mission decides whether the finale plays out as a stealthy silent raid or a loud shootout. This guide covers how to unlock the strand, every mission in order, how to lock in the Silent finale, current payout numbers, cooldown, and tips for running it solo.

01How to Unlock the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid

Unlike the classic heists (high-end apartment), the Diamond Casino Heist (Arcade), or Cayo Perico (Kosatka submarine), the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid has no property requirement and no setup fee. There is also no minimum rank gate documented for starting it.

The strand begins with a random phone call from Vincent Effenburger — a returning character last seen as the Diamond Casino's head of security, now working as an LSPD officer — while you're in free roam (not in the middle of another mission or activity). The call can take up to roughly 5 minutes of free-roam time to trigger if it hasn't already.

Once you get the call, a 'V' blip appears at the Vespucci Police Station. Head there to start the intro mission, Slush Fund, which has you raiding corrupt money-laundering fronts tied to Cluckin' Bell and delivering the funds to an abandoned FIB facility. Completing it unlocks the rest of the strand.

02All Six Missions in Order

The full strand is six missions: one intro, four setup missions (can be done in any order once unlocked), and one finale.

  1. Slush Fund (intro): Raid corrupt cop-linked money-laundering fronts and deliver the funds to an abandoned FIB facility. Unlocks the setup missions.
  2. Breaking and Entering: Three objectives in any order: shoot down a Terrorbyte's drones to steal a hacking device, steal a laptop from a Cluckin' Bell employee (this part can be done stealthily, avoiding violence entirely, or loud), and hijack a freight train.
  3. Concealed Weapons: Steal a batch of unmarked weapons and gear from one of three locations — a gang hideout, a yacht, or a military airport — each offering a different fixed loadout of increasing quality. See the section below for how to choose.
  4. Hit and Run: Steal an untraceable getaway vehicle needed for the finale.
  5. Disorganized Crime: Sabotage the cartel's supply lines. How thoroughly you complete this one determines which finale approach you're allowed to use — see the next section.
  6. Scene of the Crime (finale): Raid the Cluckin' Bell factory/farm complex in Paleto Bay, the cartel's actual drug operation hiding behind the fast-food branding. Plays out as either a silent infiltration or a loud firefight-and-escape depending on your Disorganized Crime performance.

The four setup missions (Breaking and Entering, Concealed Weapons, Hit and Run, Disorganized Crime) can be completed in whatever order you prefer once Slush Fund is done — none of them gate each other except for the finale-approach effect of Disorganized Crime.

03Silent vs. Aggressive Finale: How to Unlock Stealth

Your performance in the Disorganized Crime setup mission is what unlocks the stealth option for the finale. To qualify for the Silent approach, you need to fully complete its objectives quietly: sabotage the cartel's trucks by hand rather than blowing them up, eliminate any witnesses, and wipe the security camera footage (CCTV).

If you skip any of that — for example, destroying trucks with explosives instead of sabotaging them by hand, or leaving witnesses alive — the finale locks to the Aggressive approach instead: trucks get blown up outright and there's no stealth option at the factory.

Payout is identical either way. Choosing Silent doesn't pay more than Aggressive — it's purely a difference in how the finale plays out, not in the reward.

04Concealed Weapons: Choosing Your Loadout

The Concealed Weapons setup mission offers three separate locations to steal your gear from, each with a fixed weapon-and-armor loadout of different quality:

Whichever location you pick, that loadout is locked in for the rest of the strand — you cannot mix weapons from one location with gear from another, or swap after the fact. Pick based on how much of a fight you want during setup versus how well-equipped you want to be for the finale.

05Payout: How Much Does It Pay

The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid's payout structure changed after its March 2024 launch. When it first released, the finale paid a flat GTA$500,000 to the host plus GTA$50,000 per associate, every single run, with no weekly limit.

As of the current version, the finale instead pays on a weekly-reset structure (resetting every Thursday, same as most other GTA Online weekly systems): the host earns GTA$600,000 for their first finale completion of the week, then GTA$400,000 for each repeat completion in that same week. Crew members earn a smaller per-completion cut, reported as somewhere in the GTA$40,000–$50,000 range across current guides — treat the exact crew figure as approximate, since guide sites don't fully agree on the precise number.

On top of the mission payouts, there are two one-time award bonuses that stack the first time you ever complete the raid: GTA$250,000 for your first completion as the leader/host (the 'The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid' award), and a separate GTA$250,000 for your first completion as crew (the 'Pecking Order' award). These only pay out once, ever, per character.

The four setup missions also pay a smaller amount each, which Rockstar doesn't publish an exact figure for, but which scales with the difficulty you select (Easy, Normal, or Hard) — reported multipliers are roughly ×1.25 for Normal and ×1.5 for Hard relative to Easy.

06Repeating It: Cooldown, Solo & Difficulty

The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid has no story or rank gate blocking replays — you can run the whole strand as many times as you want. After completing the finale, there's a cooldown of roughly one hour in real time before you can start the setup chain again for another finale payout.

Every mission in the strand, including the finale, supports 1 to 4 players — it's fully playable solo from Slush Fund through Scene of the Crime, or with up to three friends.

The difficulty setting (Easy, Normal, Hard) you choose for each mission affects the setup mission payout only — it has no effect on the finale payout. Since the finale pays the same regardless of how hard your setups were, there's no financial reason to run the setups on Hard unless you specifically want the challenge; running Easy solo is the most time-efficient way to reach the finale payout.

Solo running is popular specifically because it lets you avoid griefers in public sessions while still collecting the full solo host payout — you don't need a crew to get the best money-per-run rate here.

FAQ

How do you start the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid in GTA Online?

Wait for a phone call from Vincent Effenburger while in free roam (it can take up to about 5 minutes to trigger), then head to the 'V' blip at the Vespucci Police Station to begin the intro mission, Slush Fund. No Agency, Arcade, or setup fee is required — this is one of the few GTA Online heist strands with no property prerequisite.

How much does the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid pay?

Currently the host earns GTA$600,000 for their first finale completion each week (resetting Thursdays) and GTA$400,000 for repeat completions the same week, with crew earning a smaller per-run cut. There are also two one-time GTA$250,000 award bonuses for your first completion as host and your first as crew. This is a change from the original March 2024 launch payout of a flat GTA$500,000 to the host with no weekly cap.

Can you do the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid solo?

Yes. Every mission in the strand, from the Slush Fund intro through the Scene of the Crime finale, supports 1 to 4 players. It's fully completable solo, and running solo is popular specifically because it avoids griefers in public sessions while still paying the full host payout.

How do I unlock the Silent finale for the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid?

You have to fully stealth the Disorganized Crime setup mission: sabotage the cartel's trucks by hand instead of blowing them up, eliminate any witnesses, and wipe the CCTV footage. If you miss any of those steps, the finale locks to the Aggressive approach instead. Payout is the same either way — it only changes how the finale plays out.

What is the cooldown for the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid?

Roughly one hour in real time after completing the finale before you can start the setup chain again for another payout. The strand itself has no rank or story gate, so it can be repeated indefinitely.

Does the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid require an Agency or Arcade?

No. Unlike most other GTA Online heist strands, the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid needs no property purchase and no setup fee — it starts from a free-roam phone call from Vincent Effenburger, making it one of the most accessible heists to jump into for new or low-cash players.
