GTA Online Kortz Center Elite Challenge — All 4 Requirements

The Kortz Center Heist's Elite Challenge asks you to run the whole finale clean — fast, quiet, accurate, and thorough — in exchange for a bonus that can double your take on Hard Mode. It's also one of the few Elite Challenges in GTA Online that can be mathematically impossible to finish solo on a given attempt, through no fault of your execution. This guide breaks down all four requirements, what they pay, and how to stack the odds in your favor before you commit to a run.

01The 4 Elite Challenge Requirements

All four conditions must be met in the same run of the finale — failing any one of them loses the whole bonus, even if the other three were clean:

• Finish in under 17 minutes. The clock covers the entire finale from entry to getaway, so time lost to a wrong turn or a firefight you didn't need is time you don't get back.
• Keep shooting accuracy above 90%. Every shot fired counts against this, including warning bursts or wasted shots at a guard you didn't need to engage — the fewer shots you fire overall, the easier this is to hold.
• Lose less than $15,000 in loot bag value. Getting hit while carrying loot, or dropping a bag under fire, docks this total. Playing it stealthy protects both your time and this requirement at once.
• Collect every item on the Buyer's Request list. This is the requirement most likely to sink an otherwise perfect run — see the solo-specific warning below.

Because the four requirements interact — going loud to save time on accuracy costs you the accuracy requirement, and rushing to save time risks the loot-loss threshold — the Elite Challenge rewards a fully-planned stealth route far more than a fast, aggressive one.

02Elite Challenge Payout: Normal vs. Hard Mode

The Elite Challenge bonus stacks with the separate Buyer's Request bonus, and both scale with difficulty:

• Normal Mode: $50,000 for the Elite Challenge, plus $50,000 for the Buyer's Request bonus — $100,000 combined.
• Hard Mode: $100,000 for the Elite Challenge, plus $100,000 for the Buyer's Request bonus — $200,000 combined.
• Both bonuses require the Buyer's Request list to be fully collected, so in practice completing the Elite Challenge on either difficulty also nets you the Buyer's Request bonus for free.

This is on top of whatever the primary target and secondary loot pay out that week — the Elite bonus is a flat addition, not a multiplier, so it matters proportionally more on a lean solo take than on a full-crew run stacked with secondary loot.

03The Solo Problem: Crisp Gallery

The Kortz Center's Crisp Gallery is a two-player area — certain doors or display cases inside it require a second Raider to access. If the random Buyer's Request roll during your Scope Out places one of the requested items inside the Crisp Gallery, a solo player cannot retrieve it, full stop. There is no workaround, no gadget, and no route that gets around the two-player requirement.

This means the Elite Challenge is not guaranteed to be solo-completable on every attempt — it depends on the layout the game rolls for that reset. Before committing to a full stealth run, check the Buyer's Request list during Scope Out and cross-reference which items and areas it points to.

If a Crisp Gallery item shows up on a roll you can't work around, your options are to reroll the setup for a $100,000 fee and hope for a solo-friendly layout, or run the heist that week without attempting the Elite Challenge and simply bank the standard payout.

04Unlocking Hard Mode

Hard Mode isn't available from the start — you have to earn access to it on a per-reset basis:

• Complete the finale once on Normal Mode.
• Raf De Angelis messages you roughly 10 minutes after the finale ends with the option to switch to Hard Mode.
• You then have a 48-minute window (one in-game day) to return to the Art Studio planning board and pay a $100,000 setup fee to activate it.
• Miss the window and you'll need to wait for the next weekly reset to try for Hard Mode again.

Since the Elite Challenge bonus doubles on Hard Mode for the same four requirements, it's worth budgeting that $100,000 fee into your run if you're already confident in a clean Normal completion — the payoff clears it easily.

05Prep and Loadout Priorities for a Solo Elite Run

• Complete Guard Shipments and Guard Routes before attempting Elite solo. Fewer, weaker, and known guard positions directly protect both your time and your loot-loss budget — the two requirements most likely to fail under pressure.
• Pick the Alpha Mail Disguise for Infiltration Gear. It lets you walk past most guards unchallenged rather than needing to engage or avoid them, which keeps your shot count — and therefore your accuracy — clean.
• Reserve your bag capacity for Buyer's Request items first. Grab everything on the list before you touch any general secondary loot; missing one requested item after filling your bag with unrelated loot forfeits the whole challenge.
• Use a suppressed weapon if you do need to fire. A single unsuppressed shot can draw guards you then have to deal with, costing you both time and accuracy in a cascade.
• Check the Buyer's Request list during Scope Out before you commit resources to that week's attempt. If a Crisp Gallery item is on it, decide up front whether to reroll or skip the Elite attempt entirely rather than discovering it mid-run.
