Marvel's Wolverine releases on September 15, 2026, exclusively for PlayStation 5. It is built from the ground up for PS5 and will not be available on PS4 or other platforms at launch.
Set three years after Logan left the mutant strike force Team X, the game follows Wolverine as he rejoins the group to investigate the abduction of mutants. The trail leads to Bolivar Trask — a fanatical billionaire industrialist — and his cybernetically-enhanced private militia, the Reavers. Along the way Logan crosses paths with Jean Grey, Mystique, Omega Red, Sabretooth, and others.
Combat is fast, brutal, and third-person melee-focused. Logan can stalk and ambush enemies or wade in with relentless claw strikes. Special moves called Techniques — including the Tornado Spin and Bull Rush — add variety. As the Rage meter fills, Logan gains access to stronger attacks and can activate his iconic Healing Factor, which gradually restores health mid-fight.
