Yes. Delta Force is a free-to-play tactical FPS developed by Team Jade, a studio under TiMi Studio Group (part of Tencent). It is available at no cost on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android. Revenue comes from cosmetic microtransactions and seasonal Battle Passes — all operator classes and core gameplay content are accessible without spending money.
Delta Force has three main modes. Warfare is a large-scale 32v32 mode with combined arms combat across land, sea, and air using infantry, tanks, helicopters, and boats. Hazard Operations is an extraction mode where squads of three drop into a map to loot, complete side objectives, and extract before dying. The Black Hawk Down Campaign is a co-op or solo story mode with seven missions set in Mogadishu.
There are four operator classes. Assault operators are frontline fighters built for direct combat and aggressive pushing. Recon operators gather intel and mark enemies for the squad. Support operators heal and sustain teammates during engagements. Engineer operators handle vehicle countermeasures, fortifications, and area denial. Within each class, multiple operators offer different abilities — Luna (Recon) and Stinger (Support) are among the most popular meta picks.
As of 30 June 2026, Delta Force is in Season 10: Meltdown. This season introduced the Nuclear Power Plant AZ3 Operations map (available on Easy and Normal difficulty), the new Engineer operator Gabriel Mercier (N-Two) with cryogenic gadgets, the RM277 bullpup rifle chambered in 6.8mm, and a crossover event with Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege beginning 10 July 2026.
Yes. Delta Force launched on PC (Steam) first, with the mobile version (iOS and Android) following in April 2025 and the console release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S arriving in August 2025. Cross-play is supported, though some matchmaking pools may differ across platforms.
