Skill Fruits are how you turn a mediocre Pal into a boss-killer. Each fruit teaches a single active skill on the spot, letting you replace weak default moves with high-power attacks that match your Pal's element. This guide explains how Skill Fruits work, where to farm them, how the Skill Fruit Orchard automates the supply, and which skills are worth the slot.

01What Skill Fruits Do

Every Pal has four active-skill slots used in combat. Pals learn some skills automatically as they level, but those defaults are often weak or off-element. A Skill Fruit teaches a specific active skill immediately when fed to a Pal, letting you curate exactly the four moves you want.

If all four slots are full, teaching a new skill prompts you to overwrite an existing one — choose carefully, since the replaced skill is gone unless you have another fruit. Skill Fruits affect active combat skills only; they do not change passive skills (which come from breeding) or work suitability.

The biggest gains come from matching skill element to Pal element: a same-type skill gets a damage bonus, so a Fire Pal benefits far more from a Fire skill than an off-element one of equal power.

02Where to Find Skill Fruits

Skill Fruits grow on distinctive glowing fruit trees with a faint sparkle, scattered across the islands. They do not respawn instantly, so harvesting routes matter:

• Wild Skill Fruit trees — dotted across most biomes; the skill a tree yields is tied to its location, so specific fruits come from specific regions.
• Dungeons — chests in dungeons sometimes contain Skill Fruits, including stronger skills.
• Higher-tier regions — more powerful skills tend to come from trees in tougher, higher-level areas.
• Fixed farm routes — experienced players map a circuit of known trees and run it after each respawn window.

Because a given tree yields a fixed skill, cross-reference a community map when hunting one specific skill rather than wandering — it saves a lot of time.

03The Skill Fruit Orchard: Farming Them at Base

Hunting wild trees forever is tedious. The Skill Fruit Orchard lets you grow Skill Fruits at your base from Skill Fruit seeds, turning a scarce resource into a renewable one. It unlocks in the higher-level technology tree (around the high 40s), making it an endgame convenience rather than an early tool.

• Plant a Skill Fruit seed in the Orchard; each seed corresponds to a specific skill.
• Assign Pals with Planting and Watering suitability to tend it, just like a Berry Plantation.
• Harvest the grown Skill Fruit and feed it to any Pal to teach that skill.
• Seeds come from harvesting wild fruit, dungeon rewards, and certain merchants, so build a stock before relying on the Orchard.

The Orchard is most valuable for skills you teach repeatedly across a breeding line — grow a steady supply rather than re-running wild routes every time you hatch a new fighter.

04Best Active Skills to Teach

The strongest active skills combine high base power, a fast or reliable hit, and an element you can match to your attacker. General priorities:

• High-power elemental nukes — late-tier skills in each element (Dragon, Dark, Ice, Fire) hit hardest; teach the one matching your Pal's type for the same-type bonus.
• Dragon and Dark skills — widely effective offensively and pair with the strongest legendary attackers.
• Beam and homing skills — reliable damage that tracks moving bosses, easier to land than slow ground AoEs.
• A fast low-cooldown skill — keep one quick move alongside your big hitters so you always have something ready between cooldowns.

Aim for a loadout of three to four high-power moves that all match your Pal's element where possible, plus one quick filler — avoid leaving low-level default skills in the slots of a Pal you actually fight with.
