03How to Unlock Act 3 (the True Path)
Act 3 is the key to every ending beyond the default, and it is not automatic:
- Begin the Act 3 unlock quest before the Grand Mother Silk fight. The events that open Act 3 must be set in motion before you finish Act 2 — if you beat Grand Mother Silk without them, you get the Weaver Queen ending.
- Obtain the Needolin, the instrument tied to the true path.
- Complete the questline that opens the corrupted, remixed version of Pharloom that is Act 3.
- Progress to the void area where the true final boss waits.
If you already finished the game and got Weaver Queen, you can load a save from before the Grand Mother Silk fight (or start a fresh run) to take the true path.

- Twisted Child is a separate branch tied to the Act 2 finale under a specific Crest condition, so it does not require Act 3.
