Genshin Impact Daily Farming Planner: Talent Books & Weapon Materials Today

Every domain in Genshin Impact rotates on a strict three-day cycle — and the first question you ask each morning is always the same: what can I actually farm right now? This interactive planner detects today's weekday and shows every talent book series and weapon ascension domain that is open, by region and character. 01How the Weekday Rotation Works

All Domains of Mastery (talent books) and weapon ascension domains share the same three-day rotation. Think of each region's domain as cycling through three material groups:

• Monday / Thursday — Group 1 materials open (Freedom, Prosperity, Transience, Admonition, Equity, Contention, Moonlight…)
• Tuesday / Friday — Group 2 materials open (Resistance, Diligence, Elegance, Ingenuity, Justice, Kindling, Elysium…)
• Wednesday / Saturday — Group 3 materials open (Ballad, Gold, Light, Praxis, Order, Conflict, Vagrancy…)
• Sunday — all three groups open simultaneously across every domain — the best catch-up day of the week

The in-game day flips at 04:00 server time (not midnight). If you play after midnight but before 4 AM, the game still considers it the previous day. The planner below uses your device clock; keep the server-reset nuance in mind for late-night sessions.

03Making the Most of Your Resin on Rotation Days

Knowing which domains are open is only half the battle — spending your 160 daily resin efficiently is the other.

Use Condensed Resin every time. Each Condensed Resin (crafted from 40 Original Resin + 1 Crystal Core + 100 Mora at any Crafting Bench) doubles the drops of a single domain run. For a talent domain you plan to visit repeatedly, always convert before you enter.

Batch characters who share a day. If two priority characters both need the same book series — say Hu Tao and Xiangling both need Diligence (Tuesday/Friday) — one batch of runs covers both. Check today's planner and farm as many aligned characters as resin allows.

Sunday is the catch-up day, not the primary farm. Sunday opens everything simultaneously, which is perfect for topping up a book type you missed earlier in the week. It is not more efficient than a weekday run — the same drop rates apply — so do not defer primary farming to Sunday and then run out of Condensed Resin.

Pre-farm before a new banner. If you know which character arrives next patch, check their required book series now and start stacking Philosophies while their domain is open. A cache of 30–40 Philosophies waiting in inventory means you can push talents immediately on release day rather than spending banner weeks grinding the domain.

• Weekly bosses first, always: the first three Trounce Domain claims per week cost only 30 resin each — claim all three before Monday resets
• Never overflow the 200-resin cap: log in at least once a day to spend down even if you can only manage a Ley Line Blossom run
• Track which boss materials you already hold: each talent level 7–10 needs 6 weekly boss drops total — knowing your stockpile tells you whether to prioritise boss runs or domain runs this week
