Forza Horizon 6 Festival Playlist Series, Seasons and Weekly Rewards

The Festival Playlist is Forza Horizon 6's live seasonal event system — a rotating set of weekly challenges tied to a changing world, with rewards ranging from exclusive cars to bulk credits. It is separate from the Discover Japan stamp campaign and from the Wristband progression track, and it never really ends: once one Series wraps up, the next one begins automatically. This guide covers how it is structured, when it resets, and how Season and Series rewards actually differ.

01What Is the Festival Playlist?

The Festival Playlist is FH6's rolling live-events calendar. Every week it hands you a fresh batch of challenges — win races, complete PR stunts, drive certain car types, hit speed or style targets — and completing them earns points toward rewards. It runs continuously in the background of the campaign, so you can work through it alongside the main career or Discover Japan at your own pace.

Crucially, the Playlist is not just a checklist: the seasons it cycles through change the actual game world. Roads that are dry and green in Summer get buried in snow come Winter, which affects grip, visibility, and which cars are actually competitive that week.

02How Series and Seasons Are Structured

The Playlist is organised into two layers:

• A Series is the top-level cycle and lasts about a month.
• A Season is one week inside that Series. Each Series contains four Seasons, always in the same order: Summer → Autumn → Winter → Spring, then the cycle repeats with the next Series.

The world visibly reflects whichever season is active — lush greenery and long days in Summer, falling leaves in Autumn, snow and ice in Winter, and cherry blossoms in Spring. These aren't cosmetic-only changes: adjust your car and driving line for the season you're actually racing in, since a Winter Drift Zone plays very differently to the same zone in Summer.

New Seasons — and a new week of challenges — land every Thursday, at the same moment worldwide:

• 7:30 AM Pacific Time
• 9:30 AM Central Time
• 10:30 AM Eastern Time
• 2:30 PM UTC
• 3:30 PM British Summer Time

03Season Points vs Series Points

Points earned from that week's challenges count toward two separate reward tiers:

• Season rewards sit at a lower point total and reset every week — hit the threshold before Thursday's reset and you get that week's reward. Miss it, and the points (and the reward tied to that specific week) don't carry forward.
• Series rewards need a much larger cumulative total, built up across all four weeks of the Series. These are the harder-to-reach, better rewards — usually the most desirable car in that Series.

As an example of the shape of this: in the final week of FH6 Series 4 ("Horizon Mascot Party"), that week's Season rewards sat at 20 and 40 points out of 53 available for the week, while the Series-wide rewards required 80 and 160 accumulated points across the full month to unlock. The exact point costs and cars change every Series, but the two-tier structure — cheap weekly reward, expensive monthly reward — is consistent.

04What You Can Earn

Festival Playlist rewards fall into three broad categories:

• Cars — the headline rewards, usually a mix of a modern featured car and one or two classics that fit that Series' theme. Series rewards in particular tend to be cars you can't easily get any other way.
• Credits — straightforward cash payouts for hitting certain point milestones, on top of whatever you earned playing the challenges themselves.
• Cosmetics — items like car horns, driver outfits, and emotes have historically been part of the Horizon Festival Playlist reward pool alongside cars and credits, though the exact mix of cosmetic items varies from Series to Series.

05Tips for Clearing the Playlist Every Week

• Check the Playlist tab as soon as a new Season drops (Festival menu → Playlist) so you know exactly how many points each challenge is worth before committing time to it.
• Prioritise the Season reward first. It resets weekly and is easy to miss entirely if you're focused only on the bigger Series total.
• Spread Series points across the month rather than cramming. Since Series rewards need points accumulated over all four Seasons, doing a little each week is far less punishing than trying to catch up in the final week.
• Match your car to the season. A Winter week with snow-covered roads often makes AWD or rally-tuned cars far easier to clear challenges with than the road-race build you used all Summer.
