WoW: Forever Dungeons Guide All 9 New Dungeons

Updated September 20266 min readBy

World of Warcraft: Forever (the reimagined "Classic+", also called WoW Forever) launches on November 4, 2026 with nine brand-new dungeons layered on top of the classic ones. Blizzard hasn't published full boss rosters yet, so this guide sticks to what several trackers agree on: the names, level bands and zones, and flags every detail that is still unconfirmed in the beta.

01The Nine New Dungeons at a Glance

Every tracker we checked lists the same nine. Level ranges are the ones published so far and may shift before launch:

The ranges overlap on purpose: you can mix and match, rather than follow a single dungeon ladder.

02Early, Mid and Endgame Picks

Levels 13–20: Hall of Thanes and Ruins of Lordaeron. One tracker describes them as Alliance-focused and Horde-focused respectively; treat that as unconfirmed.

Levels 24–40: Excavation Site, City of Dalaran and The Drowned City fill the gap where classic leveling dungeons used to be thin.

Levels 40–60: Krol'dok Stronghold, Alcaz Prison, Blackmaw Hold and Shaper's Terrace. Blackmaw Hold's tunnels reportedly lead toward the Barrow Deeps raid (story link only; no attunement announced), and Shaper's Terrace is the highest-level starter dungeon at 58–60.

03What Isn't Confirmed Yet

Be careful with anything claiming exact numbers:

The beta runs until October 21, so expect corrections. See our Beta Guide for what you can test.

04Classic Dungeons Still Exist

The new nine are additions, not replacements. Wailing Caverns, for example, is still in, and beta data reports it as a level 17–24 dungeon with eight bosses plus a rare spawn (the Deviate Faerie Dragon), ending with Mutanus the Devourer after the Naralex event. Numbers for classic dungeons come from beta datamining sites, so cross-check them at launch.

There is no instant dungeon teleport reported: you travel to the entrance, though a Warlock can summon the group there, per one tracker.
