The Blood of Dawnwalker Release Date & Platforms

The Blood of Dawnwalker launches on September 3, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S simultaneously. Developed by Rebel Wolves and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, pre-orders are already live across all platforms in four distinct editions.

01Official Release Date

Rebel Wolves confirmed the release date during a June 2026 showcase: September 3, 2026. The date is global and simultaneous across all three supported platforms, so players in every region should be able to jump in on the same day.

The announcement came alongside a new story trailer that introduced additional story details and confirmed the game's Unreal Engine 5 foundation. The studio, founded by veterans of CD Projekt Red's work on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has positioned The Blood of Dawnwalker as a dark fantasy action RPG built around the tension of playing as Coen — a Dawnwalker who is human by day and vampire by night in a 14th-century Carpathian setting.

02Platforms at Launch

The game releases on three platforms on day one:

• PC — available via Steam and other digital storefronts; supports NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR upscaling
• PlayStation 5 — digital and physical Day One Edition
• Xbox Series X/S — digital and physical Day One Edition; confirmed on the Xbox store

No version has been announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or any streaming service. The current-generation-only scope is consistent with the game's heavy use of Unreal Engine 5 rendering features.

The Collector's Edition is available exclusively through the Bandai Namco online store while stock lasts. Standard Edition pricing had not been formally confirmed at the time of writing — check the storefront of your choice for the current listing price.

04PC System Requirements

Rebel Wolves released official PC specifications alongside the release-date announcement. The studio also lowered the initial requirements ahead of launch after optimization work — the figures below reflect the revised, final published specs.

An SSD is required at all tiers — a traditional spinning hard drive is not supported. The game supports NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR, which will help lower-end cards hit the target frame rate at higher resolutions. Ultra and ray-tracing tier specifications had not been formally published at the time of writing.
