GTA 6 Activities Guide — Every Side Activity Confirmed So Far

Updated July 20267 min readBy the HowToPlayHub team

GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI) hasn't launched yet, so there's no official activities list from Rockstar. But Trailer 2 and the wave of 60-plus official screenshots released around pre-order launch on June 25-26, 2026 show Jason and Lucia doing a lot more than shooting and driving — fishing, hunting, working out, playing bar games, and hitting Leonida's nightlife. This guide rounds up everything Rockstar has actually shown on-screen, separated from what's still guesswork.

Quick answer

Rockstar hasn't published a full activities list, but Trailer 2 and the 60+ screenshots released alongside pre-orders on June 25-26, 2026 confirm a wide spread of side content: fishing, hunting at Mount Kalaga National Park, basketball, pool/billiards, mini golf, gym workouts, kayaking, scuba diving, off-road/dirt bike racing, underground cage fighting, and Leonida's nightlife (nightclubs, bars, and strip clubs). Wyman's Classic Car Collection is also confirmed but covered in depth in our vehicles guide. Whether every one of these is a full mini-game versus a scripted moment isn't confirmed yet.

01How to Read This Guide: Confirmed vs Speculation

Every activity below comes from one of two places: Rockstar's official Trailer 2 (released May 6, 2025) or the official screenshots Rockstar published around the June 25, 2026 pre-order launch. Where something is inferred rather than directly shown — like whether an activity is a full repeatable mini-game or a one-off scripted scene — it's called out explicitly.

None of this is a full features list. Rockstar has confirmed the November 19, 2026 release date but has not detailed exactly which activities are available from day one, tied to specific story missions, or added later. Treat everything here as "shown to exist," not "guaranteed to work exactly like this at launch."

02Outdoors: Fishing and Hunting

Two activities that never appeared in GTA 5 return by way of Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar's other open-world franchise:

03Sports and Games

Several bar-game and sports activities are confirmed through trailer footage and screenshots, mostly shown as something the protagonists do together or with side characters:

04On and Under the Water

Leonida's coastline, rivers, and swamps show up as more than scenery:

05Off-Road and Racing

Dirt bike and off-road racing footage appears in Trailer 2 alongside the more traditional street racing GTA has always had. Rockstar has not confirmed whether off-road racing is a structured event type (like GTA Online's races) or purely open-world traversal.

06Nightlife

Leonida's nightlife is one of the more heavily featured lifestyle elements across both the trailer and screenshots. Named venues visible in official material include Jack of Hearts, Nine1Nine, and Delights Cabaret — clubs and cabaret-style venues where Jason and Lucia are shown dancing, drinking, and socializing. Multiple outlets covering the same footage also describe strip-club-style venues among Leonida's nightlife spots. As with the sports activities above, it's not confirmed how much of this is interactive nightlife content (minigames, minigame-adjacent systems) versus atmospheric world detail.

07Vehicle Collecting: Wyman's Classic Car Collection

One more confirmed activity deserves a mention here even though it's covered in full in our GTA 6 vehicles guide: Wyman's Classic Car Collection, where you track down abandoned and unfinished project cars around the map and restore them for an eccentric collector named Wyman. Some reporting ties this specifically to the Ultimate Edition's premium content — see the vehicles guide for the full breakdown.

FAQ

What activities are confirmed in GTA 6?

Trailer 2 and the June 2026 pre-order screenshots confirm fishing, hunting at Mount Kalaga National Park, basketball, pool/billiards, mini golf, gym workouts, underground cage fighting, kayaking, scuba diving, off-road/dirt bike racing, nightlife (nightclubs and bars including Jack of Hearts, Nine1Nine, and Delights Cabaret), and Wyman's Classic Car Collection. Rockstar hasn't published an official full activities list, so more will likely be confirmed closer to launch.

Can you go fishing in GTA 6?

Yes — official footage shows a protagonist fishing with a rod from a boat. Rockstar hasn't detailed the exact mechanics (whether it plays like Red Dead Redemption 2's fishing minigame or something simpler).

Can you hunt animals in GTA 6?

Yes, hunting is confirmed at Mount Kalaga National Park, one of the six confirmed regions of the Leonida map, with wildlife including deer shown in official material. The specific mechanics — tracking, weapon restrictions, whether you can sell pelts or meat — have not been detailed.

Is there a gym in GTA 6?

Yes — Jason is shown working out and lifting weights at what appears to be a beachside outdoor gym in Trailer 2, similar to the gym system last seen in GTA: San Andreas. Rockstar hasn't confirmed whether this ties into a fitness or stats system.

What nightlife is there in GTA 6?

Official trailer footage and screenshots show named venues including Jack of Hearts, Nine1Nine, and Delights Cabaret, with Jason and Lucia shown dancing and socializing. Multiple outlets covering the same official material also describe strip-club-style venues among Leonida's nightlife. How much of this is interactive versus ambient world detail hasn't been confirmed.

Will all of these activities be available at launch?

Not confirmed either way. Everything in this guide comes from Trailer 2 and the pre-order screenshots, both released before launch, but Rockstar has not said which activities are day-one features versus added through post-launch updates.
