GTA 6 Activities Guide — Every Side Activity Confirmed So Far

GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI) hasn't launched yet, so there's no official activities list from Rockstar. But Trailer 2 and the wave of 60-plus official screenshots released around pre-order launch on June 25-26, 2026 show Jason and Lucia doing a lot more than shooting and driving — fishing, hunting, working out, playing bar games, and hitting Leonida's nightlife. This guide rounds up everything Rockstar has actually shown on-screen, separated from what's still guesswork.

01How to Read This Guide: Confirmed vs Speculation

Every activity below comes from one of two places: Rockstar's official Trailer 2 (released May 6, 2025) or the official screenshots Rockstar published around the June 25, 2026 pre-order launch. Where something is inferred rather than directly shown — like whether an activity is a full repeatable mini-game or a one-off scripted scene — it's called out explicitly.

None of this is a full features list. Rockstar has confirmed the November 19, 2026 release date but has not detailed exactly which activities are available from day one, tied to specific story missions, or added later. Treat everything here as "shown to exist," not "guaranteed to work exactly like this at launch."

02Outdoors: Fishing and Hunting

Two activities that never appeared in GTA 5 return by way of Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar's other open-world franchise:

• Fishing: Official footage and screenshots show a protagonist casting a rod from a boat. Rockstar hasn't detailed the mechanics — whether it's a Red Dead Redemption 2-style timing minigame, a simpler cast-and-reel loop, or tied to specific bodies of water — but the activity itself is confirmed to exist.
• Hunting: Wildlife encounters are shown at Mount Kalaga National Park, one of the six confirmed regions of the Leonida map, including deer and other animals native to a Florida-inspired setting. As with fishing, the exact hunting mechanics (tracking, weapon restrictions, whether pelts or meat can be sold) haven't been detailed by Rockstar.

03Sports and Games

Several bar-game and sports activities are confirmed through trailer footage and screenshots, mostly shown as something the protagonists do together or with side characters:

• Pool / billiards: Shown being played at a bar, marking its return after being absent from GTA 5.
• Basketball: Official screenshots show Jason and a friend shooting hoops together on a basketball court. The activity is confirmed to exist, but the specific format hasn't been confirmed by Rockstar — whether it's a structured mini-game (1-on-1, team mode, or otherwise) or a scripted bonding moment isn't clear from official material alone.
• Mini golf: New to the franchise — an official screenshot shows a themed mini-golf course. This is the first time mini golf specifically (as opposed to a full golf course) has appeared in a GTA game.
• Gym and weightlifting: Jason is shown working out — lifting weights at what looks like a beachside outdoor gym — echoing the gym mechanics last seen in San Andreas. Rockstar hasn't confirmed whether this ties into a stats/fitness system or is cosmetic.
• Underground cage fighting: Lucia is shown taking part in what looks like unregulated cage-fighting, along with training on a punching bag. Treat the exact structure (one-off event vs. a repeatable underground fighting circuit) as unconfirmed.

04On and Under the Water

Leonida's coastline, rivers, and swamps show up as more than scenery:

• Kayaking: Official footage shows a protagonist kayaking on the rivers around Mount Kalaga.
• Scuba diving: Screenshots and trailer footage show underwater exploration of Leonida's waters, with visible marine life. No details yet on whether there's a dedicated diving objective system (treasure, wrecks) or if it's primarily exploration.

05Off-Road and Racing

Dirt bike and off-road racing footage appears in Trailer 2 alongside the more traditional street racing GTA has always had. Rockstar has not confirmed whether off-road racing is a structured event type (like GTA Online's races) or purely open-world traversal.

06Nightlife

Leonida's nightlife is one of the more heavily featured lifestyle elements across both the trailer and screenshots. Named venues visible in official material include Jack of Hearts, Nine1Nine, and Delights Cabaret — clubs and cabaret-style venues where Jason and Lucia are shown dancing, drinking, and socializing. Multiple outlets covering the same footage also describe strip-club-style venues among Leonida's nightlife spots. As with the sports activities above, it's not confirmed how much of this is interactive nightlife content (minigames, minigame-adjacent systems) versus atmospheric world detail.

07Vehicle Collecting: Wyman's Classic Car Collection

08What's Still Unconfirmed

• Full activity list. Everything above is what's been shown on-screen — Rockstar has not published an official activities or features list. Expect more to surface as launch approaches.
• Which activities are launch-day features vs. added later. Not specified for any activity covered here.
• Mechanical depth. Whether fishing, hunting, basketball, and the rest are full systems with progression and rewards, or lighter scripted/ambient activities, hasn't been detailed by Rockstar for any of them.
• GTA Online integration. None of the activities above have been confirmed one way or the other for GTA 6's online mode, which itself has not been detailed yet.
