02The "58 Trophies" Leak: What It Actually Claims

A number that's circulated online claims GTA 6 has 58 total trophies. Here's exactly where that comes from and why it should be treated with heavy skepticism:

• Source: a post from an Instagram account whose bio claims the person is a Rockstar illustrator, showing a screenshot of an alleged PS5 profile from a supposed GTA 6 closed beta — 58 total trophies listed, 6 unlocked, roughly 23 hours of playtime, and 7% completion.
• What it does NOT include: no individual trophy names, no descriptions, and no categories — the leak is a bare trophy-count screenshot, nothing more.
• Why it's doubted: no official source has ever mentioned a GTA 6 closed beta existing at all, and the account behind the leak has no verifiable connection to Rockstar — several fan communities and AI fact-check tools flagged the post as likely fake shortly after it spread. 03What GTA 5's Trophy List Suggests About Structure

With nothing official for GTA 6 yet, the closest useful reference point is what Rockstar actually shipped with GTA 5, since it's the most structurally similar prior release:
