Genshin Impact Sandrone Build Guide — Weapon, Artifacts & Teams

Sandrone, the Seventh of the Fatui Harbingers, joined Genshin Impact in Version 6.7 (Luna VIII) as a 5-star Cryo Claymore DPS built entirely around a new reaction: Stellar-Conduct. Get her build wrong and she plays like a mediocre Cryo Claymore; get it right and every Charged Attack, Skill hit, and Burst tick converts into a much harder-hitting reaction. Here's the best weapon, artifact set, stats, and team for her.

01Sandrone's Kit: Why Stellar-Conduct Is the Whole Build

Sandrone's passive converts Superconduct into a stronger variant called Stellar-Conduct whenever she triggers it herself by applying Cryo and Electro to the same enemy. Doing so creates a Polestar Field around that enemy and puts Sandrone into Radiance: Stellar-Conduct while she stays inside it.

In that Radiance state, several of her attacks stop dealing plain Cryo damage and instead deal Stellar-Conduct damage, scaled off her ATK: her Charged Attacks, the second Prism Shot fired by her Elemental Skill, and the finishing ray of her Elemental Burst. That's why every recommendation below — weapon, artifact set, stats, and team — exists to get her into that state as often and as reliably as possible.

• Elemental Skill (Formule Phenomenale: Differential Analysis): Sandrone boards a hovermech with directional control and fires two Prism Shots dealing Cryo damage; the second shot deals Stellar-Conduct damage while she's in Radiance.
• Elemental Burst (Formule Phenomenale: Q.E.D.): summons cannons that bombard enemies in front of her with AoE Cryo damage, with the finishing ray converted to Stellar-Conduct damage in Radiance.
• Requirement: she needs an Electro source on the team — she cannot trigger Stellar-Conduct alone.

02Best Weapon for Sandrone

A Teaspoon of Transcendence (her signature Claymore) is Sandrone's best-in-slot weapon by a clear margin — it gives a large ATK boost and stacks additional Stellar-Conduct damage as she lands Charged Attacks, directly amplifying the mechanic her whole kit is built around.

If you don't pull her signature weapon, both of the following work as generic Claymore stat sticks: A Thousand Blazing Suns (CRIT DMG plus an ATK buff after using Skill or Burst) and Redhorn Stonethresher (a straightforward CRIT DMG stat stick). Neither replicates her signature's Stellar-Conduct scaling, so expect a real damage gap without it.

03Best Artifacts: Disenchantment in Deep Shadow

The 4-piece Disenchantment in Deep Shadow set is Sandrone's best artifact set by a wide margin, because it buffs the exact reaction her kit revolves around:

• 2-Piece: ATK +18%
• 4-Piece: increases Superconduct reaction DMG by 80% and Stellar-Conduct reaction DMG by 40%; when the wearer attacks an enemy affected by Superconduct or Stellar-Conduct, that attack's CRIT Rate is increased by 16%

That built-in 16% CRIT Rate against Stellar-Conduct-affected enemies is why Sandrone doesn't need to chase as much CRIT Rate on her own artifact rolls as most Claymore DPS characters do — it frees up substat rolls for CRIT DMG and ATK% instead.

Main stats: ATK% on Sands and Goblet, CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG on Circlet (whichever brings your CRIT ratio closer to roughly a 1:2 rate-to-damage balance).

Substat priority: Energy Recharge (only until your Burst rotation is comfortable) > CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG > ATK% > Elemental Mastery.

04Talent Priority

Level Sandrone's talents in this order: Normal Attack > Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill. Her Normal/Charged Attack combo is the main damage source once she's in Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, with her Burst a close second for its AoE finishing ray. Her Skill mostly exists to reposition and to help apply Cryo, so it's the last talent to invest in.

05Best Teams: You Need an Electro Character

Sandrone cannot trigger Stellar-Conduct by herself — she needs a teammate applying Electro so her own Cryo application starts the reaction. Any consistent Electro off-field applicator works; the best options bring extra value on top of pure Electro application.

• Premium: Sandrone, Yae Miko (Electro application and burst damage), Beidou (extra Electro application and a shield), Qiqi (Cryo application assist plus healing).
• F2P-friendly: Sandrone, Beidou, Sucrose (grouping and Elemental Mastery support), Qiqi or Diona (healing/shielding).

Any team built around Sandrone should prioritize characters who apply Electro off-field on short cooldowns over big Electro DPS units — the goal is to keep the Polestar Field refreshed while Sandrone stays on-field attacking.

06What's Still Unconfirmed

Sandrone's constellations are widely reported to scale her Stellar-Conduct damage further at higher copies, but exact percentages vary between community sources this early into her release, so this guide doesn't quote specific constellation numbers.
