02Ciri — Confirmed: Ciara Berkeley

Ciara Berkeley, an Irish actress, voices Ciri in The Witcher 4. CD Projekt Red confirmed her casting alongside the game's cinematic reveal trailer in December 2024, describing her as "a talented actress who impressed us with her enthusiasm and vocal acting skills."

• This is Berkeley's first video game role. Her prior screen credits include the Hulu/BBC series Normal People, Apple TV+'s Bad Sisters, and the miniseries The Deceived.
• Berkeley voices Ciri both in cinematic trailers and, per CD Projekt Red, in the game itself — not just marketing material.

03The Ciri Recast: What Happened to Jo Wyatt

Ciri wasn't a new character for the series — she was a supporting, playable character in The Witcher 3, voiced there by Jo Wyatt. When CD Projekt Red revealed The Witcher 4 in December 2024, it confirmed Wyatt would not be returning, with Berkeley stepping into the role instead.

Doug Cockle, who has voiced Geralt of Rivia in every mainline Witcher game since the 2007 original, is confirmed to reprise the role in The Witcher 4 — his voice closes out the game's December 2024 reveal trailer, delivering the lines "Time for a new saga" and "See you on the path."

• Before that trailer, Cockle himself had muddied the waters: in an August 2024 interview with Fall Damage, he said Geralt "will be part of the game" but that "the game won't focus on Geralt." Recalling the episode later that year at MCM Comic Con Birmingham, Cockle admitted he had separately been repeating an old, unverified rumor that Geralt "won't be the main character," and that CD Projekt Red pushed back afterward, telling him not to speculate publicly.
