03Why This One Is Expected to Be Different From Trailers 1 and 2

In mid-August 2026, a Reddit user on r/GTA6 posted a screenshot appearing to show a listing on Netflix's Portugal page splitting the Extended Look into three separate episodes, with specific runtimes: roughly 23 minutes 37 seconds, 24 minutes 41 seconds, and 18 minutes 29 seconds — about 67 minutes of total footage if accurate. It was reported, with matching runtime figures, by outlets including Insider Gaming and TheGamer, though those write-ups were careful to frame it as unconfirmed rather than settled fact.

The leak did not hold up. Once people looked closely at the screenshot, it fell apart: on a real Netflix page the "Episodes" section sits above "More Details," but in the viral image it was reversed — a layout error inconsistent with Netflix's actual interface. No one else captured the supposedly live Portugal listing despite intense, round-the-clock attention from the GTA 6 community, and a skeptic rebuilt a similarly convincing fake in about two minutes using browser developer tools. Netflix and Rockstar never confirmed a multi-episode format, and the actual premiere on August 27 settled the question directly: the Extended Look was a single 26-minute video, not three episodes.

06What This Reveal Almost Certainly Isn't
