This tier list ranks the strongest option for each major stat, explains exactly where to get it, and flags what changed in the latest patch so you're not chasing outdated numbers.

01Blasphemous Blade — Best Faith Weapon & Boss Killer

The Blasphemous Blade is the closest thing Elden Ring has to a self-sustaining weapon. Forged from the remains of Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy, it turns Faith investment into both damage and free healing, which is why it has stayed an S-tier pick through every balance pass since launch.

• Type: Greatsword, scales with Strength / Dexterity / Faith
• Requirements: 22 Strength / 15 Dexterity / 21 Faith
• How to get it: Defeat Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy in Volcano Manor, then trade the Remembrance of the Blasphemous to Enia at Roundtable Hold.

02Rivers of Blood — Best Bleed Weapon

Rivers of Blood defined Elden Ring's bleed meta at launch and, despite several rounds of tuning aimed mostly at its PvP performance, remains one of the strongest PvE options for an Arcane build. Its Corpse Piler skill strings together rapid slashes that pile on blood loss fast enough to trigger Hemorrhage more than once in a single combo against most enemies.

04Sacred Relic Sword — Best Rune Farming Weapon

The Sacred Relic Sword isn't picked for single-target damage — it's picked because Wave of Gold clears entire crowds in one cast, which makes it the fastest rune farming tool in the base game.
